Backerkit Surveys Reminder!
about 7 years ago – Wed, Feb 01, 2017 at 07:50:20 PM

Greetings Backers!

It's February 1st, which means that it's time to lock down your survey information on Backerkit. If you address has changed in the last few months, or if you'd like to make a change to any questions regarding your pledge specifics, take a moment to update your survey by following the link below.

Also, this is a good time to add extras to your order, if you'd like to get some gaming supplies with your shipment! A copy of the Savage Worlds Rulebook, a set of 6 Herald pewter miniatures with iconic characters and villains from the roaring 20's, Herald playing cards for determining initiative or ceramic Lovecraft & Tesla "Bennies" would make a great addition to your game night!

We will be closing the Backerkit surveys tomorrow morning and once we've locked down these surveys, pledges will be charged using the payment methods on file. Then all that will be left for you to do is kick back and wait for the game to arrive! Meanwhile, we will keep the updates coming as the project moves toward completion! Stay tuned!

Greetings and Salutations!

For the first update of 2017, we thought we’d send along a peek at Nikola Tesla in soon-to-be-pewter form. Bronze Age Miniatures has done a bang up job making Tom Rogers’ art come to life, so get those paint brushes ready, folks!

We can’t wait to see this 32mm guy next to Lovecraft, Greene, Earhart, Johnson and Crowley in your display cabinets!

Meanwhile, John Reilly is working on “A Fistful of Dholes,” the first standalone adventure for Herald: Lovecraft & Tesla the RPG and the playtesting is coming along nicely! Here’s the synopsis:

Lucas "Lucky" Sullivan, one of Capone's lieutenants, broke into the wrong warehouse and opened the wrong crate during a rival liquor raid. Now possessed by Kutothankenum, an elder god from Egypt, Lucky has begun slaughtering people and leaving grotesque remains. J. Edgar Hoover has asked you to investigate the murders and above all, bring Lucky back alive!

While the adventure team plugs away on that, the non-player characters which were invented by some of you are headed to the drawing board! We are so excited about the characters you’ve imagined- they’re going to be fantastic and we’ll be sure to get you a sneak peek when the illustrations start arriving.

Lastly, don’t forget to complete your Backerkit survey if you haven’t done so already! Just follow this link and enter your information so we can be sure your rewards arrive safely at the correct door and that you have a chance to get any add ons, like these pewter miniatures, Herald initiative deck, or ceramic “bennies,” included with your delivery!

Herald the RPG is taking shape people! Stay tuned for more details and new artwork from the Herald artists as we Charleston ahead into the new year!

You'll be able to verify that your address is correct, as well as to make sure that everything looks right with your pledge. If you'd like to change you pledge level, or purchase some addons like pewter miniatures, ceramic bennies, an ambient soundtrack, etc. that is also something that you can do!

As soon as they are all completed we'll lock them in and you'll be all set for the delivery of your goodies! Wohoo!

Backerkits are on the way!
over 7 years ago – Sun, Oct 09, 2016 at 10:34:43 PM

Hello again Backers!

In case you didn't hear already, we are using Backerkit to manage all your pledge information and allow add-ons and payment flexibility for those of you who may have had issues in the checkout process. It will also allow us to let people pre-order the corebook if they missed the campaign altogether.

So, keep your eyes peeled for an email that prompts you to setup your free backerkit account and answer your survey questions, if any are required. This will be your opportunity to change your address and choose your add-ons so that your rewards arrive at the correct location with everything you want included!

Because backerkit is a third-party tool, it is, strictly speaking, optional. If you are strongly against creating an account there, send us an email at [email protected] and we will manage your survey manually. However, since backerkit is giving us an easy way to organize add-ons and a payment portal, if you decline to participate, you will need to wait until the Ravendesk official store is in place to select and purchase any add-ons.

Onward!

Let's keep that steam up, friends. We are well positioned to hit our initial goal, but we really want to get into the stretch goals, the first of which adds 25 pages to the corebook. It's showtime!
