We had no doubt as soon as the idea was hatched that people would line up to play an RPG like Herald, and we're so appreciative of all our amazing backers for making it happen! Furthermore, you unlocked the extra material with NPCs and a big adventure created by John Reilly! Wohoo!

The campaign officially ends in about 30 minutes so if you want to up your pledge, now is the time! Why, you ask? Well were under 500 dollars from another stretch goal! Who wants a big map of Providence, annotated by Mark Twain and 3 more adventures??

Great work everyone!! Herald the RPG is on it's way!

WE MADE IT!!!

We reached our initial goal and Herald: Lovecraft & Tesla is going to be a Savage Worlds tabletop RPG! We here at Ravendesk Games want to thank you from the bottom of our collective heart. It's wonderful to have so many people with the vision to see how much fun this game is going to be, and the faith in us to pour our passion and expertise into making it. We've got the Elder gods and Old Ones on the run now! 

Time to hit those stretch goals! We're already close to our first one, which expands the corebook by 25 pages for everyone. Let's do it!

Playing Cards, Minis and Bennies... Oh My!

Friends,
We are well on our way to hitting our goal! The community response has been fantastic, and we are going to keep up the steam! ADD-ONs have been unlocked. There is much to get to you, so here we go: Less talky-talk, more showy-show:

Miniatures - This is the base art for the first of 6 minis we're having sculpted for the game! These pewter miniatures will be available for everyone to ADD-ON on the Kickstarter page.  

Herald Playing Cards- A high quality 54-card deck of Lovecraft & Tesla playing cards, featuring artwork by Tom Rogers. Savage Worlds games use regular playing cards (with the Jokers left in) for their easy-to-learn game system. These custom cards can be used as standard playing cards as well.

Bennies- Custom high quality ceramic poker chips ("Bennies") for use with Herald the Tabletop Roleplaying Game. Four unique designs with the Herald RPG logo on the back. 

COMING SOON- 2 Hour Soundtrack/Ambient Music- Background for all your Roaring 20s sessions, this will also be the perfect accompaniment to our adventure campaign we'll have in the corebook.

Thank you for your support and dedication in ridding the 1920's of the "Unfathomable Forces of Cthulhu". We have so many great custom game items, adventures and supplemental books waiting for you in the wings.

Weird Tales and responsible Cross-Promotion FTW!

Friends,

In an effort to reach even more people in these last few days of the Kickstarter, we’re teaming up with Weird Tales magazine online (Lovecraft’s favorite). As Weird Tales Magazine​ helps us get the word out, we hope it will translate into not only more players, but also allow us to unlock those stretch goals we want to share with you all.

James Aquilone currently has a Kickstarter wrapping up for the first in a set of novels called “Dead Jack and the Pandemonium Device”. It is not only appropriately “weird”, but was originally published as a short story in Weird Tales magazine, the legendary home of the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, and others of that era and ilk. 

Homunculi, tentacled beasts, demons and cultists, this book will have it all. Those familiar with campaign cross-promotion know that this is often an excellent way to boost the signal, but also know that if it is not appropriately done, it can be confusing. We feel that not only will you folks really enjoy this book, but will see how connected our two projects are in their Weird Tales inspiration. 

Check out Dead Jack today, they are in the final day of their successful campaign, and we here at Ravendesk Games are really rooting for it.

Greetings Friends,

The final third of a kickstarter campaign is often when most people who have been watching tend to jump on board. The stretch goals unlock and it becomes a race to the finish, trying to unlock as many cool items as possible. We have supplemental adventure books planned, Sourcebooks, One-shots, custom dice and so much more... Let's hit that initial goal, and unlock our first stretch goal, which expands your corebook to a full 200 pages, adding more NPCs and several One-shots adventures. Everyone wins!

We've also just added some new reward levels, one of which includes a hand-crafted Tesla Pistol as seen in the comics and kickstarter video. They are professionally crafted, solid and have a glowing blue LED tip; perfect for any collector, cosplayer, or Teslaphile. If any of you are at GenCon his weekend, you may see me (Alexander) walking around with one, spreading the word of Cthulhu.
